Animals are my passion! Simply put I live, breath and dream animals and I want others to do so too. My goal is to educate people about the amazing diversity that share this planet with us. My hope is that by showing people a different side of animals, ones often missed due to charismatic spots and stripes, people can find a deeper understanding, appreciation and love for all species of animals furry to slimy and all other in between.

Hello, my name is Jessica and I am the human behind WildSide! I have a BS in Anthropology, focus in primatology with a Minor in English from The Ohio State University. I have been a Certified Interpretive Guide through NAI since early 2022 and a full-time Animal Ambassador Keeper since 2021.

My favorite animals include the smooth-sided toad (Rhaebo guttatus) and the domesticated dog (Canis lupus familiaris)…just don’t tell my cat!
